Frederick Aragon studio visit

Frederick Aragon

To say painter, musician and filmaker  Frederick (Rick) Aragon keeps himself busy would be a bit of an understatement. The house he shares with his partner, writer Susan Mihalic, in Taos New Mexico is pretty much all studio. He can be found playing his flutes at numerous venues in Taos and Santa Fe. In Rick’s own words about his films, “2008 I won the Governors Cup National Geographic All Roads Film Project and made the film “Mysterys Night.” In 2010 I won the State of New Mexico New Visions Award for my song, “Dark Is My Light.” (The) Film is still a work in progress. My projects now are about songs with music videos as an introduction to the public.” You can see his work at frederickaragon.com, to keep up with his events via Facebook you can find him at Frederick Aragon Facebook. Last but not least you can see examples of his video/film work, including proof of his chile eating prowess, via his You Tube channel Frederick Aragon You Tube.
