Jane Lackey studio visit

Jane Lackey makes 2D works on paper and installations. She uses everyday materials such as tape, stickers and thread as elements of drawings that map interconnections, networks and paths of circuitry. Recent works were influenced by research during a five month, Japan/Us Creative Artist Exchange Fellowship in 2011. She is Contributing Faculty at SFUAD. She shares her studio space with her husband Thomas Lehn. You can see more of her work at janelackey.com.

Susan York studio visit

Artist Susan York works in 2D and in 3D using graphite as a main component in both. In addition to keeping busy creating her art she is on the faculty of the Santa Fe University of Art and Design. You can see more of her work at susanyork.com.

Tom Scott Reno studio visit

Tom Scott Reno has a studio when he is in Santa Fe behind the house he shares with Paula Zima. He is equally likely to be working out of his recently rebuilt home on wheels with his workshop in the trailer he pulls behind. Sculptures and paintings flow freely and energetically from Tom. Jim Vogel studio visit

Jamie Gagan studio visit

Artist and ER doc Jamie Gagan works out of a compound of artists studios on upper Canyon Road in Santa Fe. You can see more of her work here.

 

Charlie Chongr Andrijanoff studio visit

“One starts by scribbling and ends up creating…” Charlie Chongr Andrijanoff. Personable and easily approachable Charlie works from his home which is as much living space as it is a creative space. Braldt Bralds studio visit

Braldt Bralds‘ intricately detailed paintings and illustrations have graced publications such as Rolling Stone and Der Spiegel. You can see his work at braldtbraldsstudio.com.

Destiny Allison studio visit

Energetic Destiny Allison, runs a gallery of her own, is a member of the New Mexico Sculptors Guild, facilitates a monthly salon, is an author, makes sculptures and paints. You can see her work at destinyallison.com and destinyallisonfineart.com.

Julia Cairns studio visit
